On Friday, Morocco's Ambassador to Ireland, Dr. Lahcen Mehraoui, led the launch of the book "The Best Is Possible: Modern Morocco." This book, co-authored by Desmond Swan and Touria Joila Makki, compiles the speeches of King Mohammed VI from 1999 to 2019. It showcases Morocco's progress during this time, using these royal speeches as a guide for policy and reform in various areas.

The book delves into Morocco's achievements in economics, politics, and social development, emphasizing advancements in human resources, human rights, education, training, and research. It also explores Morocco's foreign policy, highlighting King Mohammed VI's dedication to Africa and initiatives promoting regional integration and South-South cooperation.

The Moroccan Embassy in Ireland believes that this book will be a valuable resource for scholars in Middle Eastern and North African studies, as well as a useful reference for researchers and students in political science with an interest in Moroccan studies.
